This eight mile walk takes you right into the heart of the Estate. The track was originally built in the 1890's to provide access to Beinn Dronaig Lodge and the old Stalker's House, which were built at the same time.
The track starts at sea level and slowly climbs up to 350m (1150ft) before it drops back down to the Lodge. Views all along the track are stunning. Lower down the scenery tends to be more enclosed with coniferous forestry and areas of natural woodland regeneration dominating the hills. As you reach the highest point the landscape opens up to give a great panorama of the two Munros and the lodge nestled at the base of Beinn Dronaig.
As you follow this route you will cross two green metal bridges, with the top one having the most impressive setting. Construction dates are unknown, but they are believed to be about 100 years old.
The old stalker's house has been renovated and it is open all year to act as a refuge and shelter for passing walkers. It is a good spot to have lunch before returning home. The lodge itself is not open to the public
