Attadale is a 30,000 acre estate in the North West of Scotland. It stretches from the south shore of Loch Carron to Loch Monar, 15 miles away to the east.

Attadale is ideally situated for touring the North West Highlands. To the North are Applecross, Loch Torridon, Loch Maree and the famous gardens of Inverewe. To the South is the magnificent scenery of Kintail with Eilean Donan Castle, Glenelg and, at Kyle of Lochalsh, the bridge over to Skye.

The Estate has four holiday cottages which can accommodate from 4 up to 8 people available from March to October. Click on the button to find out more.

The beautiful gardens are open to the public from the beginning of April until the end of October. Click on the button       to find out more.

Fishing at Attadale

We have for many years worked with others to improve the stocking of the Carron River, led by Bob Kindness this has proved to be a great success. Paul Merton has a programme called 'Paul Merton Secret Stations' and Attadale Railway station is featured in the first episode. See Paul visiting Attadale Gardens and also fishing on the Carron as well as helping Bob Kindness with the technical work he undertakes.

We had a Royal visit on 24th June where HRH, The Duke of Rothesay came to see the work being done at Attadale and other sites for the restocking of the river. Click on the pictures button to see then. More will be added in the next few days. All photographs by Peter Barr

Walking at Attadale

Walkers are welcome on the Estate.  An off road car park is provided for them and there is a bothy at Beinn Dronaig. The Bothy is open year-round.

Please note that from 6am Monday 11th July until 8pm Monday 18th July the walkers carpark will be closed. This is to facilitate the Lochcarron Highland Games Association who use the area in preparation for the games on Saturday 16th July 2016. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you but it is necessary to have that area available to the team setting up the ground.
