Loch an Iasaich
This short walk is ideal for those with a spare half day. It's a lovely circular route, which takes you past Loch an Iasaich, a great spot for a picnic. The
walk gives great views not only back towards Lochcarron, but also out towards the Applecross and Torridon Hills.
Inland, the eye can follow the Attadale hill track right up to its highest point before it disappears down towards Beinn Dronaig. SE from the loch is the
hills of Killilan and Kintail. Red and Roe Deer can be found in the forestry, so if you are quiet and lucky, you might see some. Black throated divers are also regular visitors to Loch an Isaich.
